Yum! Yum! Gelato!

We just back from the gelato place we went to yesterday.
Two days ago we went to the grocery store. Mummy and the boys were behind us and Eleanor, Florence, and I went ahead to get a start on the shopping.
We got everything we could think of that we needed and still Mummy and the boys had not come in yet. We waited and waited. Finally, Eleanor and Florence decided to look for them.
They checked in the yarn store, the cooking store, and any other store Mummy might be at, while I was waiting in the grocery store looking round to see if we forgot anything.
My sisters came back and said they couldn't find her. Eleanor and I took only a little bit of money with us, but we managed to pay for it.
On the way up the street, Mummy and the boys came down towards us with huge grins on their faces while we were just sitting there confused. Mummy told us that one of the boys were taking a picture of a cute car that they saw and an old man came up and started to talk to them. They talked and talked. It turns out that the sweet, old man didn't have any children or any grandchildren so he saw Mummy and our brothers and thought they were the cutest things on earth! Mummy also scheduled a time for us to meet with her new friend at the bar.
That is where we have been this last hour and a half! There were new flavors this time in the gelato place like we had been told before. The whole store closed yesterday so that they could make those new flavors.

Also, a new gelateria opened today at four o'clock. It was very crowded and it seems very nice. We have been watching them work on the shop for as long as we have been here. They worked very quickly; I think most people are happy that they have a new gelateria. We have not tried it, but I hope we will have that chance. Knowing Mummy, we probably will!

Jeremy is making a cake for dessert tomorrow. It takes a while so he can't do dinner too, but we will be trying a new restaurant tonight.
If I have time tonight, I will write how the dinner turns out!

Thank you everyone for the comments. We always like to know what other people think!
Love,
Ashley
