We have been so saddened by the horrors going on in Japan with the earthquake and subsequent tsunami. I have had some of the coverage on for the kids (mercifully, they don't understand all the words, but they can certainly see the pictures). Leonardo has several friends in Tokyo, and is personally touched by all of the fear and concern. He's particularly down on nuclear energy at the moment because of the concerns about the potential for meltdown at the reactors.
All my silly complaints (even the mold!) seem so minor. Seeing these poor people is such a reminder that we have so much for which to be grateful.
