Today we got up at 5 to catch a train to Venice. We've spent the entire afternoon going to Burano (wait until you see pictures!) and Torcello, two outlying islands.
We have a lot to catch up on but the internet is unbelievably even worse here than at home in Todi! So we'll write offline for a few days and catch up when we get to Rome. If we're able to, we'll give a few intermediate posts, but... no promises.
We still owe an account of our field trip yesterday, which was WONDERFUL.
