Today we woke up late because the show last night ended at about 12:15. It started on the usual, slow Italian time. There was lots of flirting and dancing and one actor made us all think of Trey. The dancing was beautiful and I loved the can-can. Their legs went up and down very quickly.
The theater was covered ceiling to floor with frescos. I hope we can go to that theater again because I really enjoyed looking at the pretty paintings and acting.
Today we cleaned up the house so now it looks great. La Cleaning Lady will be coming tomorrow and she will be cleaning the mold and mildew because it is coming back on the walls. She seems to disapprove of us, so we didn’t want to have anything for her to complain about! The house will smell of bleach, but that is better than mold.
James is making dinner tonight and I can’t wait. Risi e Bisi is the dish that he is making. It is rice and pea soup with cheese on top. Last night, Jeremy made bucatini all’amatriciana which is a dish like spaghetti, but made with bucatini. Bucatini is a type of noodle like tubes that has great mouth feel. We had to eat that dinner quickly because we had almost forgotten about the show and we had to hurry!
