| The explorers ready to set out |
We went to Keukenhof on Friday, which I have never seen before. It's a collaboration between bulb growers and is like a HUGE flower show. I'd envisioned tulip fields (of which we saw many), but it's really more like a large botanical garden with all these gorgeous beds of flowers. They have greenhouses for more displays.

The gardens also have a number of sculptures, including "lily pads"on which people can walk. It was, needless to say, a big hit.
