Tomorrow we leave for the Netherlands to see our dear relatives Erik and Ada Ran and the rest of the Dutch clan. We are very excited, particularly me! I've never been to Keukenhof, and this is the peak time! We have all sorts of plans and hope that at least SOME of them work out. We'll have to see how it goes.
Today we did some more visiting, including Cinzia -- who currently has some dreamy bufalo mozzarella. We ate lunch in the piazza, and went to the disappearing fish shop for shrimp. Jim & Sharon enjoyed seeing the array of fresh fish for sale.
Tonight we had Benedetta over for dinner -- shrimp with garlic and olive oil, insalata caprese (with the bufalo mozzarella), and fresh red peppers (which Benedetta hasn't eaten raw since she was a child!). And some yummy strawberries for dessert -- done the Italian way (which involves red wine, believe it or not). Mmmmm.
Spring just continues to delight us! It's like spring in Atlanta -- cool some days, hot the next.

Strawberries and red wine! Sounds delicious! We're going strawberry picking on Friday;maybe you can post or send me the recipe so I can give it a try! Lucky you to get to go to Keukenhof. Make sure to post pictures of that. What a great time to go.
